To my friends at Airdmhor

Hello Everyone at Airdmhor,

Thank you for your email to me, I am enjoying Tokyo, I miss my dad but he is coming soon. My dad will take me places when he is here and we can play in the park. My baby brother Luke is growing fast. Tokyo has amazing shops and lots of lights, everything makes noise, not far from here is a place that has ride on games, my mum takes me there shopping. It is coming into winter here and my mum has bought me some warm clothes. My dad will take some photos of me in Japan and show you some of the Christmas things they do in Japan. Please write to me again and I will have my dad update the blog for you all to see.

Bye for now

The boys in Tokyo

Hi,

Leo and Luke are enjoying Tokyo, here are a couple photos of the boys. I hope the people at Airdmhor Montessori can see the photos. Leo loves his baby brother very much and takes good care of him. Leo is sporting a new hair cut, he wanted it cut like dads and likes it very much!

Wife and kids are on their way to Japan

Hi Everyone,

It was a bit sad today my wife and kids are on their way to Japan and I am still here sorting out the house and things, got back from the airport and the house is so quiet! Not use to that these days! On a positive note I will be there soon. My we boy is looking forward to seeing his grand dad, he can't wait!! I am getting ready to have a massive garage sale!!

See You for now

Time going fast!

Hi Everyone,

It is the 14th of October already and now this is the last weekend for my family in NZ. I am staying on a bit longer to sort out the house before I fly out at the end of November, going to a very quiet time at home with no wife and kids here but it won't be long before I am in Tokyo at the end of November.

Going to be busy this weekend sorting out what to take with us! Fitting our life into 10 boxes is proving difficult!

See you for now, when I get to Tokyo there will be so much more to post and photos to show.

Here is a photo of Akabane standing in the station looking towards the bus stop, it is a very nice place.

Getting Ready

Hi Everyone,

Welcome to my first blog, I am currently living in Christchurch New Zealand, my wife and family are moving to Tokyo!!! Yipeee I am excited about the move to my new home!!

We have made this decision so the kids can see more of their grandparents, learn to read and write Japanese and get to enjoy some of the culture, festivals and fun Japan has to offer.

We will be moving to the area of Kita-Ku which is north Tokyo, I have been there many times and always enjoy it there, Akabane is a hidden treasure in the suburbs of Tokyo!

I am looking forward to the cherry blossom festivals in spring time! Every time I travel to Japan on holiday I kept missing them. Not this time!!

Anyone who is living in Tokyo and reading this that maybe able help me find work would be great, my Japanese is not very good. My son speaks fluent Japanese and English, he amazes me!!!

I have an electronics service background and worked in the industry 19 years! My hobbies in New Zealand have included Ameician cars, building valve/tube amplifiers and building single driver speaker cabinets. My single driver of choice is Fostex.

We are busy getting things ready! We have to pack our lives into 10 boxes!!

This is all for my first blog, I will update with more information soon. The photos are some my wife took when she was there in spring.
